About Me
Hi, I’m Taylor! I’m currently studying a Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability) at TAFE, where I’m learning how to provide compassionate, person-centred care to people of all ages and abilities. I also work as a swim instructor, which has taught me the importance of patience, safety, and celebrating progress—especially with young clients.
At Briighter Care, I’ve found a place where I can express my creativity, be myself, and adapt to whatever each day brings. Every client is different, and I love the challenge of adjusting my approach to make sure they feel supported, understood, and empowered.
I have experience supporting clients with a range of needs, including managing challenging behaviours. I know how important it is to stay calm, patient, and consistent — and to always respond with empathy. I work hard to create a safe, respectful space where clients feel comfortable to grow at their own pace.
I believe trust and open communication are at the heart of great support. I love setting small, achievable goals with my clients and celebrating the little wins—because those moments can lead to big changes. It’s incredibly rewarding to see someone grow in confidence, and I feel so lucky to be a part of that journey.
