What is Childhood Support?

Childhood is full of learning, discovery, and big emotions, and sometimes, kids need a little extra support to feel confident and safe in the world around them.

At Briighter Care, we provide support that’s tailored to each child’s developmental stage, personality, and sensory or physical needs. Whether your child has a disability, is neurodivergent, or just needs a steady, understanding presence, we’re here to grow with them.

Support might look like helping your child follow routines, practice emotional regulation, build confidence in the community, or simply play in a way that feels safe and supported. Every session is designed with their goals in mind, and yes, fun is always part of the plan.

Support Aligned to Your Child’s Goals

We Work Together

We believe children thrive when everyone around them is working together. That’s why we regularly communicate with your child’s OT, behaviour therapist, speech pathologist, or psychologist to make sure our sessions reflect their current learning goals, routines, and strategies.

We Focus on Your Child’s Goals

Every session works towards your child’s own goals, using the strategies recommended by their OT, speech pathologist, psychologist and Behaviour Support Plan.

Building Everyday Skills

Depending on your child’s goals, this may include road safety, recognising and regulating emotions, asking for help, social interaction and turn-taking, and understanding personal space and boundaries.

Practising in Real Life

We practise new skills at home, in the community and during everyday routines, and share progress with your child’s therapy team so everyone stays on the same page.
