About Emma
Hey! I’m Emma – Director and Care Manager at BriighterCare. Originally from the UK, I moved to Australia in 2013, swapped accounting (which I studied and hated) for a career in disability support, and never looked back.
I’m a people person through and through. I love good conversations, learning about others, sharing laughter, and showing up for people in a way that feels genuine. With ADHD in the mix, I bring creativity, energy, and a knack for thinking outside the box — but when it comes to care, I’m focused, reliable, and deeply invested in getting it right.
I’ve been working in disability support for over 10 years, and I’ve seen first-hand what works (and what doesn’t). I started Briighter Care because I wanted to build something that puts relationships, trust, and client choice at the centre. Support should never feel clinical or cold — it should feel like it fits you, and it should help you grow.
My role includes creating personalised support plans, working alongside therapists and families, and making sure every client is matched with a support worker who actually suits them. I’m also out in the community checking in, making sure supports are working, and staying connected with the people we support — which is my absolute favourite part of the job.
Outside of work, I’m all about CrossFit, running, LEGO, my dog Daisy (my favourite girl in the world), and country music. If I could marry Robbie Williams, I would. I love good food, bad dancing, and time with my friends and family — and I believe joy and connection are essential, both in life and in care.
I’m bright, bubbly, and a little bit chaotic — but I know what I’m doing. I care deeply, I lead with heart, and I’m here to make sure every client at BriighterCare is truly seen, heard, and supported in a way that works.
Services Offered
Working closely with you and your care team to create personalised, meaningful support plans that reflect your goals and needs.
I work closely with OTs, behaviour practitioners, and speech therapists to develop monthly learning topics and session goals for our
neurodivergent clients and younger participants. These topics (like road safety or emotional regulation) help support consistent progress across home, therapy, and community settings.
Helping you navigate the NDIS, make informed choices, and ensure your voice is heard every step of the way.
Experienced in high-intensity supports including PEG feeding, seizure management, catheter care, colostomy care and more.
Regularly touching base to make sure your support feels right, your goals are on track, and you’re happy with how things are going.
Available when things change or get tricky — I’m here to step in and help find a solution that works for you.
While most of my work is behind the scenes, I still jump in to support clients directly when needed — and I love those moments.
